BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. On September 15, 2025, the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation hosted a literary and artistic concert dedicated to the work of the Foundation’s staff member, Chairman of the Youth Council of the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan, young poet Farid Huseyn, as well as the presentation of his book “Agibatname”, written about the work of the great Nizami Ganjavi, TurkicWorld reports.
The event was attended by Maksat Mamytkanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan, Mehmet Süreyya Er, Secretary General of TURKPA, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, as well as state officials, scholars, members of the literary community, and media representatives.
Opening the event, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova noted that the Foundation’s mission is not limited to preserving cultural heritage, but also involves passing on common Turkic values to future generations and supporting new creative talents. According to her, the works of such brilliant figures as Nizami Ganjavi are the common heritage of the entire Turkic world, and this legacy should serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation. Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova especially emphasized that the doors of the Foundation are always open to young talents whose work further strengthens the cultural unity of the Turkic peoples. She congratulated Farid Huseyn on the release of his new book and wished him continued success in his professional career. At the rich literary and artistic evening, hosted by Salim Babullaoglu, the director of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, academician Nizami Jafarov, doctor of philological sciences, Nizami scholar, editor of the book "Agibatname" Zahra Allahverdiyeva, professor Rustam Kamal, director of the Institute of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, candidate of philological sciences Mehman Hasanov, as well as the young poet Gismat spoke, who highly appreciated the literary and philosophical merits of the publication and the work of the young author.
Throughout the evening, Farid Huseyn's poems were recited by famous reciters Tural Akhmed, Gunel Gamidova, Sabira Abdullayeva. Songs written to the poems of the young poet were performed by Elgiz Aliyev, Aishen Mehdiyeva and Yagut Khalilzade. The singers were accompanied by: Sakhavat Mamedov on the tar, Togrul Gasimov on the kamancha, and Agarakim Salah on the piano. At the end of the event, Farid Huseyn signed his books for readers and made memorable photos.
