Mine explosion in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara leaves man in critical condition

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. The leg of a man who was hit by a mine in Aghdara has been amputated, the Surgeon of Barda Central District Hospital, Hafiz Aliyev, told TurkicWorld.

"A person born in 1974 (male) was hospitalized at Tartar Central District Hospital around 09:30 am today.

Upon receiving primary health care, the patient was evacuated to Barda Central District Hospital to receive more qualified medical care.

The injured person was noted to have a traumatic amputation of the left lower extremity. A surgical procedure was performed on the man. Currently, his treatment continues in the appropriate department. The patient's condition is assessed as "critical".
