Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Mongolia Aibek Artykbaev met with Chairman of the General Tax Department of Mongolia Chimidsuren Choigunsen.
The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that in the course of the meeting, the sides discussed the development of Kyrgyz-Mongolian cooperation in the tax sphere, in particular the introduction of advanced technologies, electronic services and platforms for effective tax administration.
Ambassador Artykbaev noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in studying the best practices and experience of Mongolia in the field of digitalization of the tax sphere and simplification of tax regulation.
In turn, Chimidsuren Choigunsen reported on the interest of the Mongolian side in the development of comprehensive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the tax sphere and proposed to identify the main areas of cooperation in the near future.
He also supported the proposal to conduct in the coming year mutual visits at the level of heads of tax services of the two countries.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to ontinue active cooperation on the identified issues.
