KHANKENDI, Azerbaijan, September 21. Classes at the full secondary school No. 4 in Khankendi city will begin on September 23, Acting Head of the Karabakh Regional Education Department Anar Majidov told TurkicWorld
He pointed out that the overhaul of the 624-seat secondary school was started in May this year by order of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan.
"The school has 11 classrooms, chemical, physical, and biological laboratories, technology and informatics rooms, two STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) rooms, a pre-conscription training room, a library, assembly, and sports halls, as well as a canteen.
Currently, 296 students have been officially registered, while 57 applications are under review. The electronic system will open in the coming days, and these students will undergo official registration.
The school director has been appointed and processed, and the teaching staff has also been approved. The selected teachers are individuals who have demonstrated high results in their certification.
Additionally, a kindergarten and full secondary school No. 1 in Karkijahan settlement, along with Khankendi, have been prepared and are expected to open soon," he added.
