Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to build trade and logistics complex on border

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a law providing for the creation of a trade and logistics complex on the border with Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported that the head of state signed the law "On ratification of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the creation and regulation of the activities of the industrial trade and logistics complex in the area of ​​the Karasu and Ak-Tilek road checkpoints."

The complex will consist of production sites, warehouses for storing goods and equipment, as well as transport infrastructure. This will speed up the delivery of goods and reduce logistics costs.

The activities of the trade and logistics complex will ensure industrial cooperation in the field of warehousing, storage, processing of products, the release of new goods and their further sale.
