BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. The first bell has tolled in Azerbaijan's liberated Khojaly city, TurkicWorld reports.
After 32 years, Knowledge Day is celebrated for the first time in the city.
The event has featured the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts Elchin Yusubov, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, Deputy Director of the Karabakh Regional Education Department Anar Majidov, the school staff, and parents of the students.
The national anthem of Azerbaijan was played at the beginning.
Then, a moment of silence was observed in honor of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs.
