BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed a new Prime Minister for the country, TurkicWorld reports, citing the Élysée Palace.
According to the report, Michel Barnier has been named to the position.
Replacing the PM Gabriel Attal in his role, Barnier previously served as France’s Foreign Minister and as the European Commissioner for Internal Market and Services.
