BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Today, three more Azerbaijani athletes will take part in the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, TurkicWorld reports.
Two of them are freestyle wrestlers and one is a gymnast.
Freestyle wrestlers Aliabbas Rzazade (57 kilograms) and Osman Nurmagomedov (86 kilograms) will enter the competition in the 1/8 finals.
Azerbaijani gymnast Zohra Agamirova will demonstrate her skills in movements with balls, hoops, ribbons and clubs at the qualifying stage of rhythmic gymnastics.
Today, Greco-Roman wrestler Khasrat Dzhafarov (67 kilograms) will compete for the bronze medal.
At the moment, Azerbaijan has four medals. Judokas Hidayat Heydarov (73 kilograms) and Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kilograms) became Olympic champions. Taekwondo athlete Gashim Magomedov took second place. Boxer Alfonso Dominguez (92 kilograms) secured at least a silver medal by reaching the final.
