PARIS, France, August 7. Hasrat Jafarov, a Greco-Roman wrestler from Azerbaijan, qualified for the semifinals of the Paris Olympics with yet another victory, TurkicWorld reports.
The athlete, competing in the weight category up to 67 kg, met with Romanian wrestler Valentine Petic in the 1/4 finals.
Jafarov came out on top with a score of 3:1.
In the 1/8 finals, with a score of 9:0, he defeated Egyptian wrestler Mohamed Elsayed.
