BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Nakhchivan Hotel Complex on August 11.
The Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramin Guluzade, briefed the President and the First Lady on the planned works.
It was reported that the complex will occupy an area of more than one hectare. In addition to a seven-storey hotel building, technical buildings and auxiliary facilities will be constructed on the site.
The hotel will have a capacity to accommodate 307 guests at the same time and will include 131 rooms, including rooms designed for people with disabilities.
The hotel will also feature various food and beverage facilities, including a café and restaurant, as well as an event and banquet hall. The hall will have a capacity of 350 people for banquets and 500 people for conferences.
Meeting, conference and office rooms, as well as a gym, will also be created at the complex. The construction of an underground car park is also planned.
