BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. An Organizing Committee has been established to develop the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum into a sustainable international platform.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree. The text of the document has been published on the official website of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the decree, taking into account the successful results of the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum and the partnerships formed within its framework, a decision has been made to establish an Organizing Committee with the following composition to hold the Forum regularly:

The Organizing Committee has been tasked with organizing the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, which will take place on September 25–26, to prepare and coordinate the implementation of the annual plan of activities related to the Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, and to resolve other necessary issues related to the organization and conduct of the forum.
In addition, the Ministry of Economy will serve as the secretariat of the Organizing Committee.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to resolve any issues arising from the directive.
The directive also notes that the main priorities of the state’s socioeconomic policy are to promote the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the international level, further improving the favorable business and investment environment, attracting foreign investment, ensuring the sustainable development of the non-oil sector, and strengthening the country’s integration into the global economic system.
To achieve these goals, the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in 2025, served as an important platform for presenting our country’s investment opportunities to the international business community, developing public-private partnerships, expanding cooperation with foreign investors and international financial institutions, and promoting new investment projects. The cooperative relationships established laid a solid foundation for the forum’s development as a sustainable international platform.
