BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 31. Azerbaijan's First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Altın-Balalık Health and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Cholpon-Ata on July 31, together with Kyrgyzstan's First Lady Aigul Japarova and Uzbekistan's First Lady Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva.
The Altın-Balalık Health and Rehabilitation Center has been operating since May 2022. Its primary mission is to provide high-quality medical rehabilitation services for children while also offering recreational opportunities.
The facility has 136 rooms with a total capacity of 800 beds.
During the summer holidays, the center hosts between 8,000 and 8,500 children each year from across Kyrgyzstan and neighboring countries through its seasonal summer camp.
From September through June, the center provides rehabilitation services for children with disabilities, supporting their recovery and long-term care needs.
