BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 30. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a state visit on July 30.
An official welcoming ceremony was held at Issyk-Kul International Airport in the city of Cholpon-Ata, where a guard of honor was lined up in recognition of the Azerbaijani president's arrival.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and First Lady Aigul Japarova.
During the state visit, the two leaders are expected to discuss the further development of bilateral relations, political dialogue, economic cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
