Bishkek, May 5, 2023. /Kabar/. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for the first time, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) reported.

The guest of honor at the Manas International Airport was met by the head of the KFU Mederbek Sydykov.

Gianni Infantino arrived in Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of the President of the KFU Mederbek Sydykov.

During the visit, Gianni Infantino will meet with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

The joint participation of the head of FIFA with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the opening of a new administrative office of the Kyrgyz Football Union, the construction of which was carried out under the project of the FIFA Forward program, is planned.

During the meetings, issues of FIFA support for the initiatives of the Kyrgyz Football Union, in particular, the improvement of the football infrastructure in the country and the development of domestic football, will be discussed.
