Kabar. As part of the visit of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the People's Republic of China Aktilek Musaeva to the city of Shaoxing (Zhejiang Province), a meeting was held with Mayor of the city Shi Huifang.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed.
Musaeva informed about the rapid development of the textile industry in Kyrgyzstan, noted the existing potential for cooperation in this industry, and also focused on the need for the government bodies of the two countries to create favorable conditions for business development and establish direct cooperation between enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic and China.
In addition, in order to develop interregional cooperation, the issues of establishing sister city relations between Shaoxing and one of the cities of Kyrgyzstan, as well as establishing practical cooperation in industries of mutual interest were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects in the fields of textile and light industry.
