Bishkek hosts 4th Kyrgyz-Pakistani forum with participation of over 100 companies

Kabar. From March 16 to March 18, 2023, the 4th Kyrgyz-Pakistan Trade and Investment Forum was held in Bishkek, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The event was held to promote economic diplomacy with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The forum was attended by representatives of more than 100 Kyrgyz and Pakistani companies in the field of trade, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food production, construction, engineering, chemical industry, logistics, tourism and others.

A thorough exchange of views took place between the forum participants on the issues of expanding trade and economic activities, investments and establishing efficient logistics routes.

B2B meetings were also held between representatives of the two countries, within which agreements were reached on further mutually beneficial cooperation in many different areas, the report said.

Thus, memorandums on the creation of an electronic trading platform between the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Global Business Alliance and a commercial contract between Neman-Pharm and Hiranis were signed at the event.

In addition, the Pakistani business delegation was also received by Deputy Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev, who noted the interest of Kyrgyzstan in expanding all-round ties with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including trade and economic cooperation, spoke about the main priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic in the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan and invited Pakistani investors for the implementation of various investment projects announced by the Kyrgyz side.
