KAZAN, Russia, October 24. Kyrgyzstan advocates for a just and inclusive international economic order, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov said at the first plenary session of the XVI BRICS Plus summit in Kazan, TurkicWorld reports.
"Kyrgyzstan promotes a fair and non-discriminatory international economic framework, championing universal access to the advantages of the global economy and contemporary technologies. External commerce must entirely fulfill the objectives of sustainable development. The establishment of alternative cross-border payment mechanisms within BRICS, the creation of new financial instruments utilizing digital advancements, and improvements to payment infrastructure would promote trade efficiency and growth at both regional and global levels," Japarov stated.
The President added that Kyrgyzstan is interested in collaborating with the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB) to finance infrastructure and sustainable development projects, both in BRICS nations and other developing countries. He hopes that the bank's role will continue to grow in efforts to eradicate poverty, develop infrastructure, and enhance resilience to global challenges.
"We are ready to share our experience in digitalization and infrastructure project development, as well as the transition to a green economy, with interested participants and partners in the BRICS Plus/Outreach format," Japarov noted.
