Kyrgyzstan, Belarus sign collaboration plan for 2024-2026

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 16. Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek and Belarus' Minsk have signed a plan outlining the implementation of their agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural collaboration for the years 2024-2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan told TurkicWorld

The agreement was signed by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev.

The medium-term roadmap specifies key areas of cooperation between the capitals of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

The plan aims to fully realize the industrial, economic, and cultural potential of both cities through collaborative efforts. Additionally, the agreement includes provisions for organizing business delegation visits to further strengthen economic ties.

According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $44.358 million from January through July 2024, which is 30 percent less than $62.992 in the corresponding months of 2023.
