Kyrgyzstan to launch 100 new industrial enterprises and social facilities today

BISHKEK, Trend, August 30. Kyrgyzstan is set to inaugurate 100 new industrial enterprises and social facilities today, TurkicWorld reports.

President Sadyr Zhaparov announced the milestone during the opening of the Terik-Tash clinker plant in the Kemin district of the Chuy region.

"Opening a range of new industrial and social facilities as part of the 100 projects for the centenary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, from which Kyrgyzstan’s modern history begins, is a historically significant event for us," Zhaparov said.

Among the new facilities are small hydropower stations Isfayram-1 in Kadamjay and Kurak-Tekir in Nookat, the Kara-Bulak trade and logistics zone in At-Bashi, a meat processing plant, and the Min-Bulak construction materials enterprise in Naryn.

The inauguration will also include the Junda oil refinery in the Jayil district, a gold bar production plant in Kara-Balta, an oil refinery in Suzak, a gold extraction factory in Chatkal, and other facilities across various regions of the country.

Additionally, new schools, school annexes, kindergartens, and sports halls will be officially opened, benefiting the younger generation.

"Today, we are not only opening new factories and plants, but also marking the beginning of a new era that will ensure independence in our industry. These enterprises will create new jobs, significantly contribute to economic growth, improve the quality of life for our people, and enhance the technological level of the country," Zhaparov said.
