Kyrgyzstan and Russia discuss industrial park's development

BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 5. Kyrgyzstan and Russia have underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation to establish an industrial park in Kyrgyzstan, TurkicWorld reports.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, the 5th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Working Group on Industry took place in Russia's Krasnoyarsk.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for implementing projects in energy, IT technologies, and enhancing industrial cooperation in sectors such as engineering, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, component supply, and knowledge exchange in industrial park development within Kyrgyzstan.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Ainura Usenbekova represented Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the goal of deepening cooperation with Russia in industrial policy.

Both sides expressed readiness to strengthen business ties and promote industrial development based on mutual interests.

Additionally, they addressed plans to assemble automotive equipment based on Kamaz chassis in Kyrgyzstan, in collaboration with Kamaz PJSC from Russia. Discussions also included cooperation in establishing wastewater treatment facilities and joint efforts between Titan Polymer OJSC and Sky Industrial Group LLC.
