Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2023. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov in Ashgabat on November 1.
The Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting took place as part of the participation of Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev in the 16th Forum “Central Asia – Republic of Korea”, which is taking place these days in Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and upcoming plans for Kyrgyz-Turkmen events at the highest and high levels.
The sides expressed interest in strengthening coordination and interaction between the two countries to ensure regional security, increasing transport and transit potential and deepening energy ties, cooperation within the UN, the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, various formats of “Central Asia+”, CIS, etc. .
