IATA ready to support development of aviation infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 27, 2023. /Kabar/. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is ready to support and promote the improvement of aviation infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan, Manas International Airport OJSC reported.

Manas International Airport held a meeting with representatives of IATA, during which the prospects for the development of the aviation industry in Kyrgyzstan were discussed.

The main topics of discussion were the development of airports and infrastructure, the possibility of opening new air routes and the introduction of international quality standards in the field of airport ground services.

Representatives of the association expressed their readiness to support and facilitate the improvement of aviation infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan, which will help improve the country’s accessibility for international passengers and cargo transportation.

The importance of compliance with international safety and quality standards in airport services was also emphasized, which helps to improve the reputation and competitiveness of Kyrgyz air carriers.

This meeting opens up new opportunities for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and IATA in order to improve the aviation sector and strengthen its place on the world stage, the report said.

The meeting was attended by production director of Manas International Airport OJSC Bekbacha uulu Bakytbek and commercial director Timur Aralbaev.
