Bishkek, July 26, 2023. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev met today with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the Kyrgyz minister and the secretary general discussed the preparation of the regular meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the OTS Summit in 2023, as well as current issues on the agenda of the Organization, including cooperation between the OTS member states in the field of economy, transport, energy, etc.

The secretary general informed the head of the Foreign Ministry about the results of the activities of the Organization in the first half of 2023, and also spoke about the work plans of the OTS for the near future.

Separately, the importance of the active work of the relevant state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the work of the OTS in the framework of promoting relevant issues was noted.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain further close contacts between the foreign ministry of the country and the OTS Secretariat.
