Second round of consultations on security between Kyrgyzstan and India takes place in Bishkek

Bishkek, July 18, 2023. /Kabar/. Bishkek hosted the second round of consultations between the secretariat of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic and the office of the National Security Adviser of the Republic of India.

The meeting discussed issues of ensuring regional security, countering terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and other forms of transnational organized crime. The course of bilateral military-technical cooperation, as well as the implementation of individual joint projects in the field of medicine, was considered.

The sides exchanged views on a number of other topical issues of interstate cooperation that are of mutual interest.

The consultations were also attended by representatives of ministries and departments related to the issues under consideration.
