Bishkek, July 17, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Saturday Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi.

An exchange of views took place on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.

The head of state stressed that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the strengthening and further development of bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The President placed special emphasis on the great potential for further bilateral cooperation and expansion of trade and economic ties.

Sadyr Zhaparov highly appreciated the support of the KSA in the implementation of socio-economic projects in Kyrgyzstan through the Saudi Development Fund.

The head of state noted with satisfaction the bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism, in particular, the launch of direct regular flights between the two countries, which is planned in the very near future.

In turn, Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi, thanking Sadyr Zhaparov, conveyed warm greetings from the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

He noted that the interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia continues in the spirit of reliable partnership and friendship, thanks to political trust and strong political will of the leaders of the two countries.

The ambassador handed Sadyr Zhaparov a message from the King of Saudi Arabia with an invitation to take part in the Summit of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf and the countries of Central Asia with the participation of the leaders of the countries, which will be held on July 19 in Jeddah.

In conclusion, the sides expressed mutual readiness to strengthen bilateral multifaceted cooperation.
