ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 2. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank German Gref discussed prospects for applying digital solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) in the financial sector, TurkicWorld reports via the press service of the president.
During the meeting, the impact of the current geopolitical situation on regional economies and pressing issues in the banking sector were also addressed.
It was noted that 2026 was declared the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan. The government emphasized that the current priority is the integration of advanced technologies across all sectors of the economy.
According to the Kazakh government, developing digital and AI infrastructure is crucial for the real transformation of the domestic economy.
