BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 9. The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will make a working visit to Saudi Arabia on November 11, TurkicWorld reports.
"As part of his visit, the head of state will take part in the extraordinary Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, during which it is planned to discuss the current situation in Palestine and southern Lebanon, as well as in the Middle East region as a whole," Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
The summit agenda schedules Japarov's speech, as well as a number of bilateral meetings with the Saudi side.
To note, according to the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia from January through August amounted to $2.38 million, which is 10 times higher than the figure for 2023 ($219,356).
