ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 8. Kazakhstan has prepared a plan to compensate for oil production in the first half of 2024, TurkicWorld reports, with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Energy on the OPEC+ agreement.
"Kazakhstan reaffirms its commitment to the OPEC+ agreement and supports decisions taken jointly with OPEC+ member countries. Following the decision of the 37th OPEC+ Ministerial Meeting, Kazakhstan prepared a detailed compensation plan, according to which it will gradually compensate for the volumes exceeded in the first half of the year until September 2025," the statement reads.
According to the statement, Kazakhstan will go the extra mile to toe the line and make up for overproduction as scheduled.
To note, Kazakhstan extended its previously accepted voluntary commitments until the end of 2025.
The 38th meeting of OPEC countries and non-OPEC countries will take place on December 1, 2024.
