Net profit of "Azer-Turk Bank" increased by 50%, exports of "Azeraluminium" by 46%, and exports of "Azercotton Agricultural Industrial Complex" LLC by more than 75%
“Azer-Turk Bank” OJSC, “Azeraluminium” LLC, and "Azercotton Agricultural Industrial Complex" LLC (Azercotton) , managed by the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH), demonstrated significant growth across key financial, production, and export indicators in the first half of 2026.
During the reporting period, the net profit of “Azer-Turk Bank” increased by 50% to 10.3 million manats, the revenues of “Azeraluminium” increased by 41% to over 165 million manats, and exports of aluminium products increased by 46% to over 98 million US dollars. The export volume of the Azercotton increased by 75.26% compared to the same period last year and reached 34 million US dollars.
These results reflect the positive outcomes of measures implemented to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen financial sustainability, expand export potential, and develop high value-adding business streams across enterprises managed by AIH.
"Azer-Turk Bank": 50% increase in financial indicators
“Azer-Turk Bank” demonstrated growth across key financial metrics in the first six months of 2026. The bank's net profit increases by 50% to 10.3 million manats, while operating profit grew by 30% to 15.3 million manats.
By the end of the reporting period, the bank's assets exceeded 2 billion manats, the loan portfolio surpassed 828 million manats, and the deposit portfolio reached over 1.5 billion manats. Capital grew by 14.5 million manats to reach 128.5 million manats.
In addition to its financial performance, the bank's efforts in sustainable banking and green financing were recognized internationally. "Azer-Turk Bank" received the "Green Banking Sustainability Pioneer Azerbaijan 2026" award by Capital Finance International (CFI.co).
The bank also acted as an official partner of the IFBS 2026 forum which contributes to regional financial integration, and executed new initiatives focused on education, human capital development, social responsibility, and financing energy efficiency.
"Azeraluminium": significant growth in exports and profitability
"Azeraluminium" demonstrated strong dynamics in both financial and export indicators during the first half of 2026.
The company's revenues grew by 41% to exceed 165 million manats, while its EBITDA reached 41 million manats. Net profitability increased by 151% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Exports of aluminium products increased by 46%, exceeding 98 million US dollars. The company ranked among the top four state-owned non-oil exporters. With more than 95% of its products exported to foreign markets, “Azeraluminium” plays an important role in expanding Azerbaijan's non-oil exports and strengthening the position of local industrial products in international markets.
In operation since 2018, the enterprise has produced over 400,000 tons of products and exported products valued at more than 1.8 billion manats to date.
The company continues to work on increasing the production and sales of high value-added cold-rolled and cast coil products. According to current forecasts, the company's revenues are expected to exceed 300 million manats by the end of 2026.
Azercotton: exports increased by more than 75%
Reforms implemented at Azercotton managed by AIH, aimed at modernizing production and processing operations and increasing operational efficiency, were also reflected in export performance.
In the first half of 2026, Azercotton's export volume reached 34 million US dollars, representing a 75.26% year-on-year growth. Azercotton ranked among the top five state enterprises in terms of non-oil export volume.
As a result of the modernization carried out at the Azercotton 's Beylagan Cotton Production and Processing Plant, the quality indicators of the produced cotton ginned fiber improved by more than 50%. Modernization work is currently ongoing at the Bilasuvar Cotton Production and Processing Plant.
Azercotton’s operations involve approximately 3,000 employees and 3,152 farmers. In 2025, more than 79,000 tons of raw cotton were procured by Azercotton.
Going forward, one of the main targets is to increase average cotton yield to 5 tons per hectare, expand the value chain, and secure access to new export markets.
Efficiency in management, sustainability in development
The results achieved by enterprises managed by Azerbaijan Investment Holding demonstrate that, alongside strengthening financial stability, a systematic approach has taken shape toward modernizing production, increasing productivity, raising the share of high value-added products, and diversifying exports.
Moving forward, AIH will continue its activities to enhance the operational and financial efficiency of its portfolio companies, refine corporate governance, advance investment opportunities, and bolster its contribution to the development of Azerbaijan's non-oil sector.
