BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. During a sit-down between Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and Yang Tianfu, the President of PowerChina Resources Ltd., they kicked around ideas for potential collaboration in the green energy arena, the minister wrote on X, TurkicWorld reports.
"At the meeting with the president of PowerChina Resources Ltd., Yang Tianfu we discussed potential cooperation in the field of "green" energy, the possibility of using the favorable business environment of our country, and the implementation of joint investment projects," the publication reads.
PowerChina Resources Ltd, a principal holding subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd., was founded in 2012 in Beijing, China, with a registered capital of 5.41 billion RMB. The business scope encompasses the concession of electric power projects, development of oil, non-ferrous metals, and mineral resources, real estate development, environmental conservation, investment in utilities and infrastructure, engineering and technical consulting services, import and export trading, and overseas contracting.
