BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. Azerbaijan is working hard to reduce the impact of climate change on sensitive groups of the population, women, youth, and persons with health disabilities, said Minister of Labor and Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev,TurkicWorld reports.
According to him, the insights garnered from diverse nations and global entities in this domain have been evaluated.
"In Azerbaijan, attention is paid to the development of relevant training and education systems. Climate change affects everyone. Climate change will significantly affect the labor market; there will be new jobs, new opportunities, and "green" jobs, and, of course, we must prepare our workforce for these changes. We must deepen skills and competencies in the green economy, deepen and improve our network of training mechanisms, and involve more private and public institutions in these efforts," the minister said.
