BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. The VIII meeting of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Intergovernmental Commission will be held on July 25 in Baku, TurkicWorld reports.
The newly appointed Minister of Culture in Serbia, Nikola Selaković, will lead the delegation, while Sahil Babayev, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection in Azerbaijan, will serve as co-chairman of the committee.
"Among the issues to be discussed are the continuation of cooperation in the spheres of energy (Serbia will receive Azerbaijani gas in 2024), transport, construction, trade, and defense," the information notes.
To note, the VII meeting of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Intergovernmental Commission was held on April 28, 2023, in Belgrade.
Trade turnover between the countries grows by 15–17 percent every year.
