BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with a delegation headed by Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Hassan Moejeb Alhwaizy, TurkicWorld reports.
Meanwhile, it was noted at the meeting that economic ties between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia are successfully developing. Favorable environment for investors in our country; importance of the project implemented by Saudi company "ACWA Power" in Azerbaijan in the field of alternative and renewable energy was noted.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that the Azerbaijan-Saudi Joint Business Council is an effective mechanism in terms of realization of opportunities in the directions of expansion of investment cooperation and increase of bilateral trade turnover. The importance of strengthening joint activities for diversifying the economy and ensuring sustainable development in both countries was emphasized.
The sides discussed opportunities to promote bilateral investments and trade relations, the establishment of joint ventures, and the and the participation of Saudi Arabian investors as residents in Azerbaijan's industrial parks.
