BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. Iran has successfully resisted US attacks despite Washington’s superior military capabilities, according to Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination Affairs.
Sayyari said Iran should be proud of having stood firm against an adversary equipped with advanced military technology.
Describing the conflict as a battle of determination and endurance, Sayyari said that the failure of an enemy to achieve its predetermined objectives should be regarded as a defeat.
“When an enemy fails to achieve its pre-determined objectives in war, it signifies defeat,” Sayyari said on Saturday, according to Iranian media.
His comments come amid continued tensions between Iran and the United States and ongoing claims by both sides about their military capabilities and achievements during the conflict.
Sayyari emphasized that Iran’s ability to withstand the attacks demonstrated what he described as the country’s resilience in confronting a technologically superior adversary.
