BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has pledged that his government will continue supporting the country’s armed forces and work to strengthen Iran’s defence capabilities, according to the state-run IRNA news agency.
Pezeshkian told a cabinet meeting that the government would make every effort within its authority to meet the needs of the armed forces and enhance the country’s defence capacity. He also stressed that achieving these objectives would require coordinated cooperation among all executive bodies in Iran.
The president’s remarks underscore the government’s commitment to providing the resources and institutional support needed by the country’s military structures.
