BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Azerbaijan continues to provide humanitarian assistance to people and countries in need, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The ministry made the statement in a post on X marking August 19 – World Humanitarian Day.
“Azerbaijan, guided by the principles of international solidarity and humanism, continues to provide humanitarian support to people and countries in need and to contribute to overcoming challenges,” the ministry said.
The statement highlights Azerbaijan’s commitment to international humanitarian efforts and assistance to communities facing difficult circumstances.
World Humanitarian Day is observed annually on August 19 to recognise humanitarian efforts and draw attention to people affected by crises around the world.
