BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Iran will respond more aggressively if another war breaks out, Brigadier General Rasoul Sanaei-Rad, a political adviser in the office of Iran’s supreme leader, has said.
According to the Fars news agency, Sanaei-Rad said Iran had stood firm during the recent conflict and would be prepared to respond with greater force in any future confrontation.
“We stood firm in the recent war and, God willing, we will stand firmer and more aggressively in a possible future war,” he said.
Without directly naming the United States, the Iranian official accused Iran’s “enemy” of seeking to create internal divisions through economic pressure.
Sanaei-Rad said those efforts had failed to achieve their intended objective.
