BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20, The US military says it has disabled one commercial vessel and redirected seven others as part of its ongoing blockade measures targeting Iranian ports.
In a statement posted on X, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that as of July 20, American forces had redirected seven commercial vessels and disabled one ship to prevent them from entering or leaving Iranian ports.
The announcement comes amid heightened tensions in the region and continued disputes over maritime security, shipping routes, and access to strategic waterways.
