BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 20, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that his country is engaged in a “full-scale war” with the United States, stressing that Tehran must accept the consequences of the ongoing conflict.
According to a statement released by the Iranian presidency, Pezeshkian said Iran must recognize the current situation and prepare for the consequences of what he described as resistance against US pressure and military actions.
“The reality is that today the Islamic Republic of Iran is engaged in a full-scale war. We must be realistic and accept the natural consequences of this resistance,” Pezeshkian said.
The statement comes amid escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington, with both sides exchanging military threats and accusations.
