BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi said the agency is closely monitoring the situation at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant following reports of US attacks in the area.
According to Iranian media reports, Grossi did not confirm any damage to the facility but stressed that any attack on a nuclear installation would be unacceptable due to the potential risks involved.
The IAEA chief said the agency continues to follow developments and assess the situation around the nuclear facility.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, with concerns growing over possible impacts on nuclear infrastructure during military escalations.
