BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman have discussed ways to implement the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
During a phone conversation, the two officials exchanged views on regional developments and measures aimed at supporting the implementation of the agreement framework.
Both sides expressed support for maintaining freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and strengthening regional security, according to the statement.
The discussions come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional countries to prevent further escalation between Washington and Tehran and preserve stability in the Gulf region.
