BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9,Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has said that Israel is prepared to launch further attacks against Iran if necessary, warning that any renewed fighting could involve even greater force.
Speaking at a military ceremony at Hatzerim Air Base, Katz said the Israeli army remains prepared for a possible resumption of hostilities and is ready to restore air superiority and strike Iranian targets again.
“The army is ready and on alert for a resumption of fighting, in order to regain air superiority and strike Iran again, to eliminate threats, including a third time if necessary,” Katz said.
He added that Israel had demonstrated the reach of its air force, saying it could operate “anywhere, from Yemen to Iran”.
Katz also acknowledged that the military campaign had not yet ended, despite previous operations against Iranian targets.
