BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 8, Iran's state news agency IRNA has reported that eight members of the country's armed forces were killed in US air strikes on southern Iran.
According to IRNA, the fatalities included personnel from the Iranian Army's air force and navy.
The report said the strikes took place in the southern cities of Bandar Abbas and Bushehr.
No additional details on the attacks or possible damage were immediately provided.
