BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. Iran's position regarding the situation in Lebanon remains clear, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said.
Speaking to reporters, Baghaei stressed that the United States' commitment to ending the conflict on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon, is an important part of implementing the first paragraph of the memorandum of understanding (MoU).
He said Washington must fulfill its commitments and, if necessary, ensure that Israel also complies with its obligations under the agreement.
"Our criterion for measuring America's adherence to its commitments is the text of the memorandum of understanding," Baghaei said.
The Iranian spokesperson reiterated that Tehran will assess the implementation of the agreement based on the commitments outlined in the MoU.
