Oman’s Sultan meets Qatar’s PM to discuss US-Iran negotiations

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq has met Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at Al Baraka Palace near Muscat, according to Omani state media.

TurkicWorld reports that the meeting focused on ongoing US–Iran negotiations, which are being supported through Pakistani and Qatari mediation efforts, as well as broader diplomatic initiatives aimed at ending regional hostilities and reaching a comprehensive settlement of the crisis.

During the talks, Sultan Haitham emphasized the importance of continuing and intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.

The discussions come amid intensified regional diplomacy involving Gulf states, Pakistan, and other mediators seeking to support the implementation of understandings between Washington and Tehran.
