BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. Pakistan has welcomed what it described as “substantial progress” in ongoing technical negotiations between the United States and Iran in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
TurkicWorld reports that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said in a statement that Islamabad appreciates the constructive engagement shown by both sides in implementing the Islamabad memorandum of understanding.
He added that the US and Iranian delegations are continuing technical-level discussions aimed at advancing the agreement reached during earlier rounds of talks. A Pakistani Foreign Ministry team will remain in Switzerland throughout the week to support and participate in the ongoing negotiations.
Dar emphasized Pakistan’s continued commitment to facilitating dialogue and ensuring steady progress toward the implementation phase of the agreement.
