US attacks on Iran render ceasefire ‘meaningless’, says Foreign Ministry

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Tehran – Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned the recent US strikes on Iranian territory, stating that the attacks have rendered the April 8 ceasefire “practically meaningless.”

TurkicWorld reports that in an official statement, the ministry described the strikes as “unlawful and criminal,” asserting that they constitute “a blatant violation” of the UN Charter.

The ministry added that “responsibility for the extremely serious consequences of this criminal act lies with the leaders of the United States.”
