BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Islamabad – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke by phone with Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan last night. The discussion focused on the latest regional developments and ways to ensure stability.
TurkicWorld reports that in a post on X from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the two officials “underscored the importance of dialogue, and restraint”. They emphasized that all parties should seek early understanding to support lasting peace in the region.
“Both expressed hope for an early understanding among all parties, which would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region. The two leaders agreed to maintain close coordination on regional and international issues of mutual interest and continue high-level engagements to advance the multifaceted Pakistan–Turkiye partnership,” the statement added.
