BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. US Democratic Congressman Richard Neal criticized the Trump administration as American households face rising costs amid the US-Israel conflict with Iran. During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing, Neal stated that each US household is paying an extra $750 due to the ongoing war.
“TurkicWorld reports that the price of a tank of gasoline in many places has gone up by almost 50 percent. That’s a staggering amount,” Neal said, adding that the administration continues to insist that public hardships should be subordinated to patriotic causes.
Rising fuel prices have increased political pressure on President Trump and the Republican Party ahead of critical midterm elections later this year.
