BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. According to a statement issued by Iran’s Foreign Ministry and shared by state broadcaster IRIB, Tehran accused the United States of violating the ceasefire agreement through what it described as aggressive actions in the Hormozgan region, where Bandar Abbas is located.
TurkicWorld reports that Iranian officials stated that the alleged actions demonstrate what they called Washington’s “malice and hypocrisy” toward Iran.
The ministry added that Iran would not hesitate to respond and defend itself if its security and national interests are threatened.
The latest accusations come amid ongoing regional tensions and continued concerns over the stability of ceasefire arrangements.
